Consequently, insurance companies are increasingly recognizing the importance of non-medical home care services, which often prove to be a more affordable alternative to moving into a nursing home, assisted living facility, or skilled nursing center. Due to these benefits, a growing number of insurance providers now offer insurance coverage for seniors that includes non-medical home care services in their policies.

Coastal Comfort Caregivers Agency is recognized and approved by long-term care insurance companies alongside various healthcare insurance and Workers Compensation organizations. We receive referrals from hospital staff, case managers, social workers, and discharge planners.

For those eligible, Medi-Cal services such as the CalAIM program provide Personal Care Services or Respite Services at no cost to you or your loved one. If you are currently applying for an IHSS worker or need redetermination of hours, you may qualify for immediate temporary services.
